Zhaagidawin, pastel on Canson Mi-Teintes

This portrait of an indigenous woman nursing her baby was created using my own reference images and to honour women and indigenous women the world over. Zhaggidawin loosely translates to "mother love" and was named by the elders where I was helping with the literacy program here. She comes fully framed and matted but glass will be removed for shipping purposes or can be replaced with plexiglass. You can also message me about purchasing the piece unframed. Please note that any shipments to the US are unfortunately subject to a min 30% duty tax imposed by US customs.

Prints and cards are also available through request.
